The mould decontamination process is designed to reduce the amount of spores released to the lowest level practicable whilst removing the physical mould structure its self. Rainbow Int implement multiple safety fail safes to make sure to keep our representatives and our customers safe.

All work will be carried out according to "The Rainbow Way'. Rainbow Int have a nation wide procedure to comply and exceed industry standards. The basic course of action to a mould remediation is out lined below:

  1. Quarantine the affected area to prevent cross contamination
  2. installation of safety devices.
  3. Technician to break down the cell walls of the active mould cells rendering them unable to produce spores, using an alkali solution.
  4. Removal of  any heavily affected substrate e.g. decayed building materials.
  5. physical removal of as much mould as possible.
  6. Treatment with an anti microbial chemical.
  7. Sealing the previously affected area as a final fail safe to prevent possible risk to health.
  8. Treat the route cause of the mould e.g. Dry the building following a flood.
